SPANISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE COURSES

These 60-contact-hour courses are offered at UCC in SM1 (March to July) and SM2 (August to December). They are designed for students who need to improve their language proficiency while taking regular classes at their faculties with Argentine Students. There are three levels (Lengua Castellana I, Lengua Castellana II and Lengua Castellana III) so as to meet the students’ needs. A placement test is given before the start of the courses so as to ensure students are placed in the appropriate level according to their previous knowledge of the language. As there is credit transfer for these courses, they are listed in the transcript issued by UCC at the end of the exchange.


COURSES ON ARGENTINE HISTORY AND SPANISH-ARGENTINE LITERATURE

Historia Argentina I and II and Literatura Hispanoamericana I and II (the latter available in our SM1 and SM2 respectively) are 60-contact-hour courses which offer credit transfer and are therefore listed in the students' transcripts.
